Fraithwen Cottages

About

Lletty Ann Wynn near Newtown is the first Fraithwen cottage. This two bedroomed 300 year old stone cottage with extensive garden and grounds and private hot tub was built in the 1720's and extensively renovated it in early summer 2018.

The cottage is a small Welsh longhouse, set in its own grounds and paddocks, south facing with clear views. It is completely private, and has a new hot tub in a secluded area to the side of the front lawn. The front of the house is a lovely sun trap and perfect for spending lazy days just relaxing away from hustle and bustle. Many people who come to stay do so for the peace and tranquility and just want to stay around the cottage.

The farm runs on renewable energy, consisting of a huge Solar thermal system, a large biomass boiler and three pv systems and has a tesla EV charging point and will soon be fitting another type two charger for the free use of our visitors.

we accept children but please message us before booking as the cottage has been renovated for adults and many of the fixtures and fittings and hard and breakable (ie glass, ceramics etc)
