Sunday Lunch
Due to popular demand we are delighted to announce the return of our hearty Sunday Lunches, now available on selected dates throughout the year.
Lunch is served between 12.30 and 2.30pm in our Nightingale Restaurant.
Library Bar
Open between 12pm and 10pm Tuesday to Saturday and until 5pm on Sundays, the former library now serves as the Bar for the house, serving a wide range of drinks including local wines and spirits, bottled beers and ciders.
Our Library Bar is also open to non-residents, however we do advise calling ahead in case we have an exclusive use event taking place.
Morning Room & Afternoon Teas
The Morning Room lounge overlooks the front and side lawns of the Mansion and is the perfect retreat in which to enjoy a tea or coffee, or perhaps one of our decadent Afternoon Teas!
Stay at Nanteos
Rooms are timeless and elegant and named after people, places and events associated with the Mansion’s prominent and illustrious past. There are twenty two en-suite bedrooms from the sumptuous Nightingale suite, elegant suites, cosy double rooms and one single. There are four ground floor rooms and many rooms can be twinned or can accommodate extra guests upon request. Four rooms are specifically designated as dog friendly.
All bedrooms are equipped with large flat screen televisions, tea & coffee making facilities, mini toiletries and complimentary fast WiFi throughout.
We are 3 miles outside the University town of Aberystwyth.
Please note if travelling from Devil’s Bridge your satellite navigation may direct you to turn left just after Capel Seion. DO NOT TAKE THIS TURNING. This is the old back road to Nanteos and neighbouring farms and is UNSUITABLE for cars, vans and motorcycles. Carry on until you approach the A487 and take the left hand turn to Trawscoed.
From the main A487 Cardigan to Aberystwyth road, take the turning A4120 to Devil's Bridge then turn immediately right onto the B4340 towards Trawscoed, also signposted Nanteos Mansion. After around 1.5miles, at the first left hand turning you will see a further brown sign to Nanteos Mansion. Turn left down the fork.
Please drive carefully as the road is narrow with passing places. You will drive a few hundred yards before you see the entrance sign to the mansion in front of you. Continue along our drive passing the lake on your right until you reach the main entrance.
There is ample parking in front of the Mansion and in our Mews courtyard.
Nearest railway station is Aberystwyth.
