Aberystwyth railway station is the terminus of the Cambrian line from Shrewsbury; most trains run from/to Birmingham International. Follow the signs for the town centre; the postcode is SY23 1LH.

Access to the Vale of Rheidol Railway platform. The former main station buildings are now a Wetherspoon’s pub and the Shilam Indian restaurant.

Arriving by train at Aberystwyth, exit left for taxis and straight ahead for buses. Also straight ahead for the Tourist Information Centre and the promenade – over the pedestrian crossing, right and immediately left into Terrace Road; the TIC will be on your right just before you reach the sea!

Road Directions

From the north, follow the A487 into the town centre and the station will be on your left. From the east on the A44, left at the first roundabout in the town, immediately right at the next, continue until you reach the junction with the A487, left into the town centre and the station will be on your left.

From the south, at the first roundabout turn right onto the A4120, second left at the next roundabout, straight ahead at the next and right at another roundabout; the station will be on your right.
