About
Alpaca my Boots is an Alpaca trekking company located on our working family farm 3.5 miles outside of Brecon, in the heart of the beautiful Brecon Beacons National Park.
Visitors can enjoy a fantastic, family friendly experience at Alpaca my Boots. Our Alpaca treks last approximately 90 minutes. We frequently trek on Mynydd Illtyd common, taking in Twyn Y Gaer, the remnants of an Iron Age fort. Here, you will have fantastic views of the Brecon Beacons, Usk valley and the Black Mountains. You will be surrounded by breath taking scenery and there will be ample opportunity to take a good selfie with your Alpaca by your side!
As this is a working farm, you will encounter our other animals, including our cattle, sheep and the occasional pig!
The trek is approximately 1 mile long, but does involve some uphill and uneven terrain. Families are welcome, although we recommend a minimum age of 3 years. Unfortunately, the terrain is not suitable for those in wheelchairs or pushchairs, but babies in backpacks are welcome at no extra charge.
There will be an opportunity to feed your Alpaca and browse our gift shop before you leave the farm after your trek.
An Alpaca trek makes a fantastic, memorable gift. Vouchers can be purchased from our website.
Booking is essential.
Private group bookings, such as corporate, team building, youth organisations and hen parties are welcome. Please contact us for further information.
We look forward to seeing you at Alpaca my Boots. Your woolly friend awaits!
