About
Wales Coast Awards - Green Coast Award 2024
The beach is popular with both bathers and surfers, for kayaking and sea fishing although care is needed due to a rip on the left hand side of the beach. The area is steeped in history, with Manorbier Castle and church overlooking the beach. The beach here is part of the Pembrokeshire Coast Path/National Trail. Manorbier also marks the start of the area designated as the Pembrokeshire Marine Special Area of Conservation, recognition that the rich marine life on this part of the coast is of European importance. The beach is accessible for people with limited mobility. A wheelchair-accessible path from the car park leads to the top of the beach.
Toilets and car park; shops and pubs can be found in Manorbier a short walk from the beach. Dogs are allowed.
