Coasteer - 3.5 hours
Since pioneering coasteering in 1986 we have taken 100,00 customers out to explore the Pembrokeshire Coast, and are the world’s most experienced operator. Scramble around pristine cliffs, swim between rocks and jump from land to sea with wildlife-trained guides. When you try coasteering with TYF, you are taking the first step towards independent coasteering adventures.
Kayak - 3.5 hours
No other craft gets you closer to the cliffs and beaches than sit-on-top or sea kayaks. TYF’s Classic Kayak session is a perfect introduction to this varied sport that teaches the essentials of kayaking, using a harbour session and a short journey along the coast. TYF’s guides will also teach you about the ocean critters and seaweeds that live along the Pembrokeshire Coast.
Climb - 3.5 hours
Learn the basics of effective movement on rock before abseiling to the base of a classic sandstone climb before enjoying the buzz and sense of achievement as you climb back to the top of the cliff Pembrokeshire has some of the best climbing locations in the UK.
Surf - 3.5 hours
In this introduction to the UK’s most popular beach sport, TYF’s Classic Surf session will teach you how to paddle, negotiate waves on your way out back, how to ‘prone ride’ in control of your board and master the art of standing up and catching your first wave.
Stand Up Paddleboard (SUP) - 8 hours
TYF’s one-day masterclass introduces beginners and novices to the techniques for safe, low-effort and enjoyable stand-up paddle boarding. We only use stunning locations on secluded, sheltered and slow-flowing rivers using top quality inflatable, stand-up paddleboards (SUPs) and share the magic of nature on the way.
Coasteering
Coasteering with TYF is a mischievous combination that’ll see you walk, scramble, climb, swim and cliff jump your way around the best of Pembrokeshire’s rocky coastline in the company of friends, family or like-minded adventurers.
Canoeing
Coastal kayaking in Pembrokeshire is as good as anything in the world, with a combination of sheltered coves and creeks, surf beaches, cliffs, islands and tide races we offer some of the best sea kayaking in the world.
Climbing and Mountaineering
Climb up after first abseiling gently downwards with the sea swirling beneath you, and enjoy a tremendous sense of achievement as you climb back to the top of the cliff. Pembrokeshire has the best climbing spots in the country!
Paddleboarding
See the secret untouched side of the Natural Park’s coast or rivers on a SUP. We use a range of stunning locations for our Stand Up Paddleboard adventures, using top quality inflatable Stand Up Paddleboards to navigate the coastal or river.
Abseiling
Abseil gently downwards with the sea swirling beneath you, and enjoy a tremendous sense of achievement as you climb back to the top of the cliff. Pembrokeshire has the best climbing spots in the country!
Board Surfing
Surfing’s combination of exhilarating rides, paddling effort and the patience needed to catch the next wave or swell make it one of the most addictive sports that we’ve ever known. TYF have been teaching surfing in St.Davids for 30 years.
Kayaking
TYF’s well travelled customers know that coastal kayaking in Pembrokeshire is as good as anything in the world, with a combination of world-class sheltered coves and creeks, surf beaches, cliffs, islands and tide races.
Orienteering
Ranging from a short orienteering course at Pwll Caerog, to a navigation training session equipping pupils with the necessary skills to then go and complete an orienteering course on St Davids Head.
Hill Walking
TYF’s Coastcraft is a fully guided three hour trip that is suitable for children of all ages. A little like bushcraft, but by the coast…you will get to explore one of the most unspoilt stretches of wild coastline, sea cliffs and beaches.

Road Directions
By car:
Follow the A487 to St. Davids (Tyddewi).
In St Davids Follow the one-way system until the T-junction (Nun Street / High Street). Turn left, then take the second road on the right (first road is a no-entry) signposted ‘Caerfai’. There is a large car park on the left followed by a small lane. From the car park entrance, follow the path past Oriel Y Parc (Tourist Information Centre) and continue onto the high street the shop is situated on the right hand side, just before you reach the stone cross in the city centre.
By public transport:
Take the train to Haverfordwest, then Richard Bros bus 411 to St Davids. There is a bus stop outside St Davids City Hall, 50m from our front door.
Accessible by Public Transport: Haverfordwest station is 16 miles away.
