Cardiff Race for Life

About

At just over 2 miles, 3k is ideal for families or groups having a go at their first Race for Life. It's a fun, achievable event for everyone – and an unforgettable day out. There's no pressure to finish in a certain time. Walk, jog or run or make your way around the course however suits you and help fund life-saving cancer research.

Course information:
The start is on grass on the north side of Coopers Field, opposite Orachard Lawns.

The course is on a mixture of tarmaced paths and grassy fields. Due to the nature of the venue, the course can get boggy in the event of severly wet weather in the lead up to the event.

The finish is on grass on the south side of Coopers Field, opposite the Gorsedd Stone Circle.

There will not be any water refill stations along the course so if you require water during the event, please remember to bring your own reusable water bottle already filled up.  A Scottish Power water refill station will be available to use at the finish

Please arrive 30 to 45mins before your start time so that you are prepared and ready to go on time.

Our courses have been measured with a measuring wheel.  This is the most accurate measurement method and may not always match up with fitbits, strava and Apple watches.

Venue:
Coopers Field - Bute Park, Off North Road, Cathays, Cardiff, CF10 3ER
