Shepherd's Hut at Belan Bluebell Woods

About

Secluded, back to nature glamping without the crowds. Just you, your loved ones a crackling campfire and the best starry night sky you’ve ever seen.

Red Kites circle above. Flower meadows abound. Water babbles in the brook. And breathe... Factor in a warm Welsh welcome on arrival to set the tone for your stay.

Belan Bluebells Camping Meadows

Just six pitches are spread across the three acres of Merlin’s Meadow. Tranquillity and peace comes naturally as each generous pitch* is mown into tall meadow grass, wild flowers and trees to provide privacy.

Wander down the path that winds through the meadow to find them. In spring the bluebells show just why we are called Belan Bluebells. Each pitch has a firepit and log seating. In a recognised #Darkskieswales area and at 1300ft high your view and fireside night stars are incredible.

Shepherd's Hut

Idris our Shepherds Hut is newly built from recycled materials. He sits in seclusion in his own three acre meadow with stunning mountain views overlooking the Cambrian Mountains that come from being 1300ft up!

You have a private hard standing car park area, large gas BBQ, an undercover camp kitchen with utensils and crockery, fridge and seating. You have a large firepit brazier and big sack of logs with marshmallows! Perfect for star gazing beneath the Milky Way.

Geo-domes

Hidden in our camping wild flower meadow are our 2 new geo-domes offering all the fun of camping in extra comfort whatever the weather!

Whether its a romantic weekend for 2 or a family adventure with a 4 legged friend, these generous 6m domes offer plenty of room to relax.

Daisy Bell Tent

Wander down the meadow past other camp pitches (theres only 6 pitches in total!). She sits on a lovely large pitch with log seating, cosy firepit brazier with a BBQ grill and fairy lights surrounding. A welcome hamper will greet you with homemade lemon drizzle cake!

Inside the roomy 5 metre bell tent you’ll find a proper memory foam double bed with storage room beneath, 2 single camp beds all with bedding if required – set up can be altered to suit – we have a dog bed for dog guests! There's fluffy towels, hot water bottles perfect just in case of chilly nights, storage and seating.

Campervan Pitch

Our level campervan pitch sits alone in a drive in/drive out pitch near the facilities. Perfect for a stop off on a tour of Wales or a longer stay.

Our easy to find, just off A470 location makes a stay with us convenient yet once you wind up to our drive you are on top of the world with spectacular views both day and night.

Pizza Nights

Our pizza nights have swiftly become a ‘can’t miss it’ activity! Each weekend (weather dependent - but we don’t miss many!) we greet our guests with a fabulous pizza night.

Gather around the communal campfire, make new friends, hear all about our conservation farm work. Stock up with fantastic Welsh produce, our homegrown sausages/burgers from our honesty shop and create your pizza masterpiece which is then cooked for you in our woodfired pizza oven! £6.50/pizza with different toppings available.

Kids Activities

Our kids activity evenings are hugely popular! They happen about 6pm most evenings during holidays...

Great fun for the kids, peace and quiet in the meadow for everyone else! Cricket matches, bubble fun, sheep feeding – you don’t need to be a kid or have kids to join us!
