INFORMATION THAT WE COLLECT FROM YOU AND HOW WE USE IT
When you use the Visit Mid Wales website you may submit information to us for the following reasons:
· We will only use your contact details to help you with your enquiry and will only forward your enquiry to the relevant Visit Mid Wales business advertiser if the enquiry contains a request relating to that business. We will never share or sell your contact details with any other third party. This includes information that you provide by filling in forms on our Website, subscribing to our service and any additional, posting material, contributions or requesting further services.
· Entering a competition or promotion sponsored by us or in association with our business partners who offer the prizes. The name of the competition partner(s) are always clearly stated on the entry page. With every prize draw or competition we offer through the site, options are provided to allow you to choose whether your contact email may to be used by MWT Cymru / Visit Mid Wales and/or the prize partner to contact you directly with news, special offers and marketing emails. You can choose whom you would like to share your contact email with at the time of entering the prize draw or competition.
· When you report a problem with our Website or if you contact us using our contact page form or online chat, we may keep a record of that correspondence.
· We may also ask you to complete surveys that we use for research purposes, although you do not have to respond to them.
· When you request a Holiday Guide through Visit Mid Wales your contact details are entered into our secure database for the purposes of sending you the requested guide through the post. Your details will not be used for any other reason than to send you the requested guide, unless you sign up to receive e-newsletters from us at the time of ordering your holiday guide.
· Details of your visits to the Website including, but not limited to, traffic data, location data, weblogs and other communication data, whether this is required for our own billing purposes or otherwise and the resources that you access.
We will hold your information securely and use it only in compliance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR 2018) and the privacy and electronic communications regulations. We will use your information to provide you with the products and any information that you have requested.
