About

This outstanding detached farmhouse is located up a short private lane, surrounded by a working sheep farm, four miles from Rhayader in the heart of Mid Wales.

Boasting stunning views overlooking a valley with fields that border the meandering Dulais stream, this outstanding farmhouse has been luxuriously furnished and is the perfect base for families and friends to soak up peace and tranquility.

Set over two floors, this farmhouse has three extremely comfortable bedrooms, two of which have valley views. The kitchen is extremely well equipped, and includes a dining area, which offers the chance for you and your loved ones to enjoy a meal together whilst admiring the wildlife and countryside views.

Leading from the kitchen is a superb sitting room, where you can relax on the leather sofas and enjoy the flickering light of the cast-iron deluxe electric woodburner-effect fire after a busy day exploring the area. Via French doors, step outside onto the decked area where you can relax in the soothing 7-seater Jacuzzi Spa hot tub, whilst soaking up the peace and quiet that comes as standard at this luxury farmhouse.

Rhayader is ideally placed to explore the popular Cambrian Mountains of Mid Wales, which stretch south to the Brecon Beacons. Walking, cycling, horse riding and bird watching can be enjoyed in the area, plus the Elan Valley is a short drive. Or why not watch the red kites at local feeding stations?

There are many pretty country villages surrounding this luxury farmhouse, including Abbey-cwm-hir, St Harmon and Pant-y-dwr, where local agricultural shows are held annually. The spa town of Llandrindod Wells is 5 miles away, as is the market town of Builth Wells, home of the Royal Welsh Show. This luxury modern family farmhouse is perfect for a country getaway.
