Plas Bwlch

About

Plas Bwlch (Mansion of the Valley) is a 15 acre smallholding situated along the beautiful Upper Wye Valley, over which a small flock of Welsh sheep roam. Alongside these we have various ducks, chickens and our two ponies, Rolo the Shetland and Alfie the Welsh part-bred pony.

Llangurig, the highest village in Wales, is on the National Cycle Routes and the Wye Valley Walk.

The Nant yr Arian Red Kite Feeding Station and fantastic mountain bike trails are only 8 miles away. For rally enthusiasts, the Sweet Lamb Rally Complex is just 3 miles away or for a more hands on day, why not try the Forest Experience Rally School in Carno and take control of a fully prepared rally car. For the keen motorbikers, why not try the Yamaha Offroad Experience with Geraint Jones, former British Enduro Champion. We offer guests off-road secure/locked parking for all rally cars, bikes and trailers.

The Elan Valley Lakes, Llyn Clywedog and Nant y Moch Reservoirs are all nearby, which provide excellent birdwatching countryside. What better way to enjoy a walk, than to watch the red kites and buzzards soar high above on the thermals.
