Cardigan Castle | 1176 Restaurant

About

1176 – a one-of-a-kind dining experience waiting for you at Cardigan Castle. Named after the year that Lord Rhys hosted Wales’ first Eisteddfod, amongst these very walls, the 70-seat restaurant is surrounded by beautiful grounds and 900 years of history.

With a contemporary slate and floor-to-ceiling glass design and panoramic views over the River Teifi, our restaurant is certainly fit for a Prince.

Our chef has designed signature dishes with seasonal vegetables grown straight from the Castle’s own working kitchen garden.

During the warmer months, you can also dine alfresco on our sun terrace, capturing prime views looking out over the river.
