Hafan Yr Afon is a dog-friendly establishment situated on the banks of the River Severn in Newtown.
It features a ground floor Café with both indoor and outdoor seating options, including a covered terrace. The facility also includes an accessible toilets equipped with a full-size height adjustable changing table.

Hafan Yr Afon serves as a visitor and community center, conveniently located near the Back Lane car park. It serves as a gateway to Newtown's green and blue spaces, such as Dolerw Park, Children's Play Park, Bike Hub, Miniature Railway, and provides river access for canoes, kayaks, and paddle boards.
