Lampeter is a surprising place, even when you know what you expect to find, and the Canolfan Lloyd Thomas Centre which in part of the University of Wales Trinity Saint David campus hosts prestigious events and conferences.
The Canolfan Lloyd Thomas Centre has a range of meeting space to suit all types of functions, ample parking on site and a dedicated conference team who work with you to ensure your event runs smoothly.
There is a main exhibition area with further exhibition space available in the newly refurbished foyer in the Arts Building.
Meeting rooms include the main conference room with a capacity of 400 delegates and an exclusive classic boardroom elegant to a more modern style setting. All conference suites have natural daylight and on site catering to suit your budget is available.
Venue facilities include Wi-Fi throughout, full range of audio-visual and technical facilities, 1822 coffee shop located opposite the Arts Hall, open throughout the week and during University vacations periods there are up to 500 well-appointed standard & en-suite bedrooms available for residential conferencing along with a range of further conference and meeting rooms.
Lloyd Thomas Hall | Weddings
The Lloyd Thomas Hall is a contemporary, light and airy function space with patio doors leading to an extensive terrace. It has the capacity to hold up to 250 guests. This can be partitioned to accommodate reduced numbers. It features a private bar and lounge area, built in stage with a sound system for your use.

Founded in 1822, UWTSD’s Lampeter campus is where higher education began in Wales. Although the setting is historic, and the halls filled with nearly 200 years of academic learning, the thinking and teaching at UWTSD's Lampeter Campus is inspiring and new.

By Train: The nearest train stations to our Lampeter campus are;
Carmarthen – regular trains run from most major cities and towns; Swansea, Carmarthen, Lampeter, Haverford West, Pembroke Dock. Aberystwyth – regular trains run from Birmingham and Shrewsbury.
From Carmarthen and Aberystwyth, you can catch one of the regular buses that run to Lampeter.
By Bus / Coach: Regular buses travel to Lampeter from a number of towns and cities;
