About

Afon Rhaiadr Country House, a luxury Boutique 5* Victorian Country House Bed and Breakfast accommodation. Nestled in 3 aches of woodlands near Dolgellau, at the foot of Cader Idris Mountain, in the heart of the Snowdonia National Park.

Expect a warm welcome from Gina and Gareth, luxurious surroundings and a delicious home cooked breakfast each morning. Try one of our Afternoon Teas and /or our Candle-lit dining on selected evenings (Monday, Wednesday and Saturday - advance booking and ordering required).

The B&B is stylishly decorated throughout, staying true to the building's period features and character. All bedrooms are sumptuously decorated with luxury bathrooms, quality linens, fluffy towels, indulgent toiletries and a generous courtesy tray. Satellite TVs, DVD/USB players and free WIFI.

Relax and unwind in the sitting room or conservatory overlooking the gardens and surrounding woodland while enjoying a glass of wine or hot drink and a good book. Watch a variety of wild birds dashing in for a treat at our bird feeders. Enjoy a walk through our grounds, explore the nearby disused railway path or listen to the sounds of the river, waterfall and birds from one of the many seating areas on the grounds. Afon Rhaiadr’s water is supplied by its own natural spring.

Afon Rhaiadr offers excellent value package deals throughout the year, please email Gina for details.
