Glandwr House - A six-bedroom self-catering apartment located in the heart of Rhayader, just next to Afonwy House, Old Drapers, Bakehouse, and Cwtch apartments. The apartment spans four floors and offers six bedrooms with king or twin options, with extra single beds available in some rooms. Each room has its own ensuite, making it a perfect location for families, large groups, or contractors. Hot tub, sauna, garden, parking and bike store.
Afonwy House - A luxurious 4 bedroom house in the heart of Rhayader next to the Old Drapers, Bakehouse and Cwtch apartments and the other side is Glandwr House. Over 3 floors this newly renovated self catering apartment offers four bedrooms with king or twin options. Perfect location for families, large groups or contractors. We do go one step further with a hot tub and garden area is something we offer as standard.
The Old Drapers - With level access from Bridge Street, The Old Drapers ground floor accessible accommodation has two double bedrooms with twin options and a double sofa bed. The oak flooring adds to the accessibility of our wheelchair friendly accommodation in Mid Wales.
The Bakehouse - Our first floor self catering apartment offers two double bedrooms with king or twin options. One bedroom also includes a cosy mezzanine with a single bed, perfect for families. Larger groups will appreciate the luxurious double sofa bed.
The Cwtch - Mid Wales Holiday Lets upper floor apartment has a double and single bed ‘cwtched’ in the eaves. The original beams and pitched ceilings make it perfect for couples or smaller groups. The apartment welcomes extra guests with a luxury sofa bed. The double shower room with electric digital Power Shower and spacious enclosure combines convenience with washing machine and drying area. By Car:Enter LD6 5AG into your sat nav, you will be directed to Bridge Street, Rhayader. Look out for our logo. Each apartment is signposted.For those who are using maps, Rhayader is in the heart of Mid Wales, with the A470 running north and south. To the east is the A44 from the Midlands and to the West is the B4518 from the Elan Valley.
Coming from the North: Come into Rhayader on the A470 until you arrive at the clock tower in the centre, turn right and carry on for approximately 100m we are on your right.
Coming from the South: Come into Rhayader on the A470 until you arrive at the clock tower in the centre, turn left and carry on for approximately 100m we are on your right.
Coming from the East: Come into Rhayader on the A44 until you arrive at the clock tower in the centre, go straight on and carry on for approximately 100m, we are on your right.
Coming from the West: If you haven’t joined the A470 and are coming through Cwmdauddwr, continue on the B4518, over the stone bridge and we are on your left approximately 50m from the bridge
By Rail & Bus:Mid Wales Holiday Lets’ nearest rail station is Llandrindod Wells which is 11 miles south of Rhayader, follow the A44 via Crossgates. The nearest station to the north is Caersws which is 20 miles from Rhayader, follow the A470 south.
If you want to catch a bus, plan your journey through http://www.traveline.cymru/journey-planner-results/Search Llandrindod Wells Rail Station or Caersws Rail Station to Rhayader, Powys.
Once in Rhayader, you will be dropped off at the town car park. Walk past the leisure centre towards the town centre, turn right at the town clock (past the Spar), keep walking until you get to the Cornhill Inn, cross the road and head down the hill. You will see our sign at the bottom of that hill.
