Spring Rock Luxury Lodge

About

Spring Rock Holidays is set next to the imposing landscape of Llandegley Rocks. Walk in the footsteps of our ancestors and visit the Iron Age monument, admire the breathtaking views of the land below and bask under the expansive skies and wingspans of the red kites that circle above. A luxury lodge, ten hardstanding seasonal touring pitches and camping pod available.

The park is adult only by design which means it is a perfect spot to enjoy time with your significant other, have a moment of tranquillity or just relax and take in the view. There is a guest only pleasure fishery lake on-site where residents are able to enjoy float fishing for an additional cost of £5 per person per day. Day tickets for the pleasure lake are available to purchase from the site once you are settled in.

Spring Rock Luxury Lodge with hot tub (sleeps 2)

The dark night skies of this region make it ideal for relaxing under the stars in the hot tub, and there are country walks, picturesque villages and historic market towns to explore nearby. Lovers' Lodge is set at the top end of the owner's land, in enclosed grounds, with access to 10 acres of fields, with small touring caravan site (a few vans only, glamping pod and small shower block, set well away from the Lodge) and Fishery; coarse fishing (carp) on site, but do book in advance to be sure of a peg.  Plenty of excellent walking and cycling in the area.  Local attractions include Abbey Cwm Hir hall and gardens, National Cycle Museum at Llandrindod Wells, Judges' Lodgings at Presteigne. It is just 12 miles to the Red Kite Feeding Station at Rhayader, with the Elan Valley just a little further. The Radnorshire hills and moors are excellent for walking and nature spotting throughout the year, and the dark sky status makes it ideal for star-gazing!

Pitches

Spring Rock offers ten hardstanding seasonal pitches with an electric hook up facility. Although our guests like to return to us year after year we occasionally have pitches that are available for short term breaks or holidays.

The site welcomes well-behaved dogs and encourages you to take them with you on some of the epic ‘ walkies’ that are on our doorstep.

Each pitch has access to wifi, water hook up, electric hook up and a chemical disposal point for your convenience.

Pod - "The Cwtch"

Cwtch is a Welsh word that translates as a cuddle or hugs… but anyone Welsh will tell you it means something a little bit more than that, its a safe place and comfort which is exactly why we named our very first camping pod at Spring Rock “ The Cwtch.”

The Cwtch is a 10.1m² wooden camping pod set in the scenic location that is Spring Rock.

It comes complete with wifi, bed linen, duvets and pillows, a heater, electricity, kettle, microwave, toaster and fridge.

There is a DVD player and tv within the pod meaning that after a good day exploring and an evening sat underneath of the starry skies you are able to cwtch up warm in bed and doze off to your favourite film or indeed forgo all modern technology and revel in the sounds of nature that surround you.
