Well behaved dogs are welcome to stay in all our cottages. We have a large field you can use for those essential “walkies”, with the added advantage of beautiful views of the Preseli hills at the top, or if you prefer there are some lovely walks in the area on quiet roads or footpaths.
We're very lucky to have our own seasonal heated outdoor private pool here at Trenewydd, only open to our guests so it won't be crowded. The sparkling water is beautifully surrounded by natural stone walls with flowering planters, creating a secluded haven. There is a shallow end for children, and at 40' by 20' it is also large enough for swimmers who enjoy a more serious work-out. Or simply relax on one of the sun loungers provided around the pool area.
Our fun 9-hole FootGolf course is free for all our guests to use at any time, as often as you like! Simply come to Reception to pick up balls and a score card and get ready to have some energetic fun! (April to September.)
Oak Cottage (sleeps nine), Chestnut Cottage (sleeps five), Maple Cottage (sleeps 5), Cosy Cottage (sleeps 2), and Blackberry Shepherd's Hut (sleeps 2) have their own private hot tubs with hydro massage jets. Hot tubs are brilliant for stress relief and easing aches and pains as all that tension fades away, followed by a restful night's sleep. Shatterproof glasses are provided, so you can take a drink with you while lay back and look at the stars.
Planning a big celebration? We accommodate up to 31 guests for family birthday celebrations and anniversaries, wedding parties and other large groups. We have had several parties and weddings when the whole complex has been rented, which has been great fun.
Driving to Trenewydd couldn't be easier. The A457, which stretches from Snowdonia to Fishguard, goes almost all the way. We are just a few minutes from the main road so no need to worry about navigating down very narrow Welsh roads. The M4 and the second Severn crossing makes travel even easier. The ferry from Ireland comes in to Fishguard, which is half an hour from Trenewydd.
No need to worry about where you might be able to park at the end of a long journey, or a busy day spent sight seeing as there is plenty of parking spaces on site. .
