About

The Rheidol hydropower plant is the largest of its kind in England and Wales and the Visitor Centre and Cafe includes an interactive educational models for the younger generation who want to learn about renewable energy, local films and guided tours of the centre at set times.

The cafe offers a choice of light lunches, sandwiches and snacks.

Turn off the A44 (Aberystwyth -Llangurig road) at Capel Bangor towards Cwm Rheidol. Follow the road 4 miles down the valley.

The signposted Rheidol Cycle Trail which begins in Aberystwyth, terminates at Cwm Rheidol.
