About

The Nags head is a Grade II listed coaching inn on the A483 between Newtown and Welshpool and only a few yards from the Severn and the Montgomery Canal.

This award-winning Inn is steeped in all the history you might expect of a rural treasure. Originally known as The Nags Head Hotel, it was formerly a coaching inn for passing trade along the main trunk road from north to south Wales and has always been a destination on the Montgomery Canal.
