A large stretch of shingle beach situated on the north coast of Anglesey. It has a shingle ridge at the rear offering protection to an impressive salt water lagoon. The lagoon is an important habitat for wintering birds.

Cemlyn is managed by the Wildlife Trust as a nature reserve and is part of a National Trust Estate. Wardens are present on site 24 hrs a day from May to August and collect important data on the wildlife as well as answering any questions visitors may have.

Separated from the beach is a brackish lagoon, which is fed by a number of small streams. Cemlyn Bay is excellent for bass fishing, kayaking & birdwatching.
