About

Llanddona's long, sandy beach is located at the eastern end of Red Wharf Bay and is ideal for bathing, paddling, sea fishing, beach combing and walking. The Anglesey Coast Path runs alongside the beach and links with local circular footpaths. The beach is easily accessible by bike. The Telor local circular cycle routes passes through Llanddona and is close to National Cycle Route 5.

Free parking, toilets, cafe; more facilities available in the the nearby village of Llanddona or further afield in Beaumaris. Dog restrictions apply May - end September.

Road Directions

From Beaumaris, B5109 north-west for a mile and turn right signed Llanddona. Continue through the village, take left turn signed for Beach and left at next junction; this lane leads to the beach car park.

Accessible by Public Transport: Bangor station is 10 miles away.
