About
Wales Coast Awards - Blue Flag 2024
The very popular sandy beach is a favourite destination for families and has shallow water, ideal for swimming. Canoeing, sailing, windsurfing and fishing are also available. Saundersfoot is a small seaside resort in between Tenby and Amroth. It's much more compact than Tenby and has a charm and character of its own. It has a busy harbour at the south end and there are a number of cafes, pubs, shops and restaurants nearby and along the beachfront. There is good access onto the beach for disabled people via a concrete slipway at the northern end. Saundersfoot is also renowned locally for a charitable New Years Day Swim sponsored by local businesses.
Dog restrictions apply to the whole beach except the eastern end May - end September. Parking available next to the beach and approx. 200m away - both with charges. Toilets and refreshments adjacent to slip to beach. Lifeguard service provided 10:00 - 18:00 June - September
