The entire entire home fleet of engines (subject to availability) will be taking part in the Bala Lake steam gala along with a visiting locomotive.
Bala Lake Railway also be running some freight services between Llanuwchlyn and Llangower using slate wagons from their extensive historic collection. At Llangower, the railway will be undertaking a special shunting manoeuvre to allow two passengers trains to pass while the freight is also at the station.

Llanuwchllyn station is just off the A494 at the South-Western end of Bala lake. Ample free car parking is available within the station site. Turning and parking facilities for pre-booked coach parties can also be provided.
Sat Nav users, please note the Google maps postcode does not lead to Llanuwchllyn station, please use LL23 7TW to get to Station Road or follow the B4403 through the village and look for the brown signs.
