International Ceramics Festival 2023

About

Since it began in 1987, the International Ceramics Festival has grown to become one of the UK’s leading ceramics events.

Organised by two of Wales’s potters groups, North Wales Potters and South Wales Potters together with Aberystwyth University, the festival attracts over 1000 visitors for a long weekend of celebrating ceramics. It offers teachers, students, ceramic artists, collectors, working potters and lovers of craft, the chance to meet and study the work of distinguished, internationally renowned potters and ceramic artists from Wales, the UK and around the world.

The biennial festival features demonstrations, kiln builds and spectacular firing sculptures, talks and discussions, films, exhibitions, performances and lectures as well as hands-on activities for visitors to get involved
