The second in our Mining in Ceredigion events, in partnership with Natural Resources Wales and the Mining Remediation Authority, will include a day of talks by members of the Metal Mines Programme, David Sables and Ioan Lord, focussing on the Abbey Consols mine and other mines in the surrounding area. There will also be an update on the remedial work that is being done to address the legacy of pollution from the metal mining industry in Ceredigion and a guided walk up to the Abbey Consols mine itself.
Refreshments provided throughout the day but please bring your own lunch.
