JDS Machinery Rali Ceredigion, recipient of Motorsport UK Environmental Sustainability Award.

About

The FIA European Rally Championship (ERC) is returning to Wales in 2025 after the stunning success of this year’s JDS Machinery Rali Ceredigion, which brought the major international competition back to the country for the first time in 28 years.

JDS Machinery Rali Ceredigion has been confirmed as round seven of the 2025 ERC after officials were impressed with the 2024 event, which attracted tens of thousands of spectators to Ceredigion.

It also helped decide the outcome of the ERC title race with New Zealanders Hayden Paddon and John Kennard’s victory in Wales helping them seal the ERC title.

Action from Rali Ceredigion was broadcast to 55 million homes across 74 countries thanks to the ERC TV package.

Rali Ceredigion is the only rally in the UK that has achieved a two-star FIA Environmental Accreditation, thanks to its work surrounding the sustainability of the event and its carbon reduction credentials that include offsetting the emissions of all competing vehicles.

With over 100-miles of mountainous closed roads in the Mid Wales Cambrian Mountains on offer, Ceredigion’s bumpy, moorland roads will undoubtedly provide one of the toughest encounters of the season.

SPECTATING SAFELY
Rallying is potentially very dangerous and everyone to stay alert and follow the marshals instructions. If they ask you to move please do so as it’s for your own safety.

Watching a live motor sport event is a thrilling experience and one of the best ways for fans to get close to the action, experiencing the sport’s sights, sounds and smells first-hand.

Motorsport UK, event organisers and venues strive to keep spectators safe but ultimately all spectators are responsible for their own personal safety.
