SFW Newtown events are hosted by Textile Junkies and Open Energy. Textile Junkies is a community-based business, created by Cheryl Griffiths of The Dress Makers Daughter because of her concern about the impact fast fashion is having on the environment. Open Energy is a National Lottery Funded Project aimed at inspiring residents in Newtown to take meaningful climate action by saving energy and facilitating reusing and recycling regimes.
