Winter Solstice Gathering on the 21st December at
Welsh Mountain Cider, Prospect Orchard, SY186JY
December 21st 2PM-8PM
Join us for The Winter Solstice - a perfect time to get together, sit by a fire, sing and play and sip hot, spiced cider. Also a great time to stock up with Christmas Cider, and buy festive gift packs for friends and family as well as last minute Christmas shopping needs.
Hot soup and bread will be available from 5:00 PM
It's always a bit of a gamble to schedule anything in the winter, as we are perched at 1200ft and very prone to the vagaries of the weather. We've just had a few days of snow, and you never know if and when we may get more. Having said that, we're usually lucky with the weather for our events!
So, if the weather is with us, we would like to invite you to join us to celebrate the Winter Solstice.
This event will take place in the cider barn, which is unheated. We will have a bonfire outside to warm up by, and hot mulled cider available to drink (hot apple juice for drivers and kids), but please dress warm and dry, and bring a blanket to snuggle up by the fire.
