Hereford railway station is on the South to North Wales route between Newport and Shrewsbury; it is also the western terminus of the Cotswold Line from Oxford. Located off the A465 and Barrs Court. The postcode is HR1 1BB.

Ticket office open Monday to Friday 05.20 - 18.30, Saturday 06.45 - 18.30 & Sunday 09.15 to 18.40. Ticket machine, payphone, waiting room open 05.15 to 22.00 (from 09.00 Sunday), café, toilets. Live Departure and Arrival screens. Car parking @ £6.00/day - 135 spaces, 50 cycle storage stands, taxi rank and buses outside the station.
