Llanbedr railway station is on the Cambrian Coast line from Machynlleth to Pwllheli and is located west of the village centre off the A496. The postcode is LL45 2LR.

The station is unstaffed; buy tickets on the train.

Llanbedr is a request stop; ask the conductor/indicate to the driver for train to stop.

When arriving on the train, turn left out of the station for the village (about 0.5 mile) or right for Shell Island (1.8 miles).

Travelling north on the A496 from Barmouth, the turning for the station will be on your left in the village centre just prior to the river bridge (signed to the station and Mochras/Shell Island).
