The Dragon hotel was originally built as a Coaching Inn around 1630. For centuries, horses and coaches would be driven right through the centre of the hotel. The covered coachway now forms the entrance area.
The hotel’s food is freshly-prepared and lovingly cooked by the excellent team at the Dragon. The Bistro has built up an enviable reputation for food in the area over a number of years. You can choose to eat in the Bistro dining room, the bar or the Dragon’s ‘Den’.
The choices are wide-ranging to cater for all tastes, incorporating:
À la carte Bistro food with a Mediterranean flavour and a good range of meat and fish.
Pastas.
Classics, such as, fish and chips, burgers, casseroles and ‘steak frites’.
A variety of salads.
A selection of vegetarian dishes.
Lunches: extra items are also available at lunch time from our lunch only menu which provides baguettes, salads, omelettes etc.
Seasonal Menus: The à la carte menu is changed on a seasonal basis and there are also daily specials available at times.
